San Diego based artist, Hashtohm, is set to release an innovative album in January 2025. The album promises a unique fusion of the traditional Persian musical system with modern Western EDM and electronic music soundscapes, creating a familiar, at times nostalgic, yet new listening experience.

Drawing from the rich heritage of Persian music, known for its intricate melodies, rhythms and poetry, Hashtohm attempts an integration of such elements along with the pulsating beats, dynamic textures and energy of electronic music. This fusion not only pays homage to the past but also pushes the boundaries of contemporary music, offering listeners a fresh and exhilarating auditory journey.

The upcoming album will feature Setaar and Persian percussions recorded live along with cutting-edge electronic production techniques.
